SUSTAINABLE / RESPONSIBLE MATERIALS
Textiles are a fundamental part of our creation process. When choosing the most appropriate materials for our designs, we carefully evaluate their environmental impact and prioritise only the most sustainable fabrics.
SLOW
We create timeless designs in small runs to minimise waste because we believe slow fashion is a meaningful way to diminish our environmental impact and bolster our positive impact. We pre-order most of our pieces . We never over stock.
INCLUSIVE
Our designs are made to love and be loved by every body. We consciously tailor an inclusive range of sizes so that each piece is an elegant expression of the design’s spirit.
ETHICAL
All House Of The Sea creations are made ethically and responsibly in New Zealand. We work with talented local seamstresses in Mount Maunganui to maintain rigorous quality control. We nurture a close relationship with all our manufacturing partners to ensure they meet our code of conduct, which guarantees safe and ethical working conditions for all of its people.
