Seasons and bookings 
The most popular period is the main holiday season in July and August, a period of 8 weeks. The temperature is most of the time around 30/35 degrees. Rain is a rarity. Both houses are normally booked far in advance.

One of the most beautiful periods of the year for holidays is early spring (6 weeks) and pre-summer (6 weeks). In early spring the island is full with wild flowers. Wild roses smell everywhere. The temperature is around 20 degrees. Some rain might fall. Nearly all days are bright and sunny. The pre-summer is equally beautiful and attractive. The temperature is most of the time 25-30 degrees. It seldom rains.

The autumn period is a very nice period to visit Lefkas as well. The temperature normally is around 25 degrees. The temperature in late autumn (4 weeks) tends to be around 25 degrees as well. From the end of September some rain might fall occasionally. Nearly all days are normally bright and sunny. The pool and the sea are still deliciously warm and invite for a swim.

Rental rate
The rental rate of House ‘Olives’ is based on occupancy of maximum 6 persons. In case more than 6 persons older than 2 years would occupy Villa Olives the rental rate increases with EUR 200  per week per person to a maximum of 8 persons in total .

The rental rate for the Villa Roses is based on a occupancy of two persons. Per person older than 2 years old the rate increases with EUR 200 to a maximum of 3 persons in total. The additional sleeping facility / bed is quite simple and not as luxurious as the bedroom with bathroom en suite, but will do fine.  

Possible damage
For possible damage there is a warrant of EUR 750 for the renting period. Small damages are not debited. The warrant will be paid back within 1 week of departure. In case of a serious damage an e-mail will inform the guests about the cost of the damage.

Payment terms
40 % of total costs at reservation, 60 % of total costs 6 weeks before arrival. 

Arrival and departure
From spring till autumn, there are weekly flights to Lefkada (airport Lefkada/Preveza) from many European cities. Flying via Corfu, Athens or Thessaloniki is an option. The drive by car to the island of Lefkada is from Igoumenitsa (ferries Corfu, Italy) 1 ¼ hour, from Athens and Thessaloniki 4 ½ hours. Many drive by car through Italy. Convenient ferries depart daily from Venice and Ancona to Igoumenitsa. And vice versa.

Arriving guests can occupy the villa after 15.00 hours. On departure day, we require guests to vacate the accommodation before 10.00 hours.
