Exquisite villas on perfect location
Both villas of House Of The Sea are situated on a plot of land in excess of 5000 m2 above the beautiful Poros - Mikros Gialos Bay. The villas are surrounded by natural beauty. The houses are far removed from tourism and offer the ultimate in serenity, privacy, comfort and tranquillity.
The villas afford breathtaking views of the dazzling blue sea, the neighbouring islands and a picturesque village on the olive- and cypress-studded mountainside at the other side of the valley. The warm nights illuminated by the moon and a blanket of stars are very romantic. It is a dream come true. Here you can experience the essence of life.
Exterior & Interior
The villas are built on a south-facing slope, providing sun from morning to evening, with centuries-old olive trees and palm trees providing shade.
The interiors of the villas have a quality rarely found in the top end of the international rental market. Both villas are custom designed and only the best materials are used to meet the highest standards. The height of the wooden ceilings, doors and windows create a warm and light atmosphere. The villas are well appointed with tasteful contemporary furniture, beautiful antiques and carefully selected original works of art. A quality of life is offered that appeals to all the senses with its beauty, style, luxury, elegance and homey atmosphere.
Shopping and tavernas
Your grocery shopping can be done in Nidri. This is the nearest small town for shopping, some 10 minutes by car. Sivota is close as well, lots of sailing boats are moored here. It might be obvious you really need a car when you rent one of our villas.
Villa Olives for 2 - 8 persons (see pictures, terracotta coloured villa)
The villa and the setting are very romantic. The total surface of the house is 310 m2. The generous layout of the living area (150 m2) comprises a sitting room, a dining room, a perfect fully-equipped Siematic kitchen and a beautiful covered veranda which is a delightful place to relax.
For six guests the house has three tastefully decorated bedrooms with AC, luxurious bathrooms en suite and large private terraces. At souterrain level there is place for two beds/persons; the setting is basic.
The landscaping respects the unspoilt, natural beauty of the land. The ancient olive trees were naturally incorporated into the landscaping. Dozens of palm, orange and lemon trees have been planted. The fabulous swimming pool of 6 x 15 m is really made for swimming.
Villa Roses for 2 - 3 persons (see pictures, yellow coloured villa)
The location is downhill of Villa Olives in the direction of the bay of Poros. The views from the inside of the villa and from the veranda are stunning. Breathtaking is the experience to be high on a mountain and yet close to the bay and the sea.
The surface is almost 200 m2. Villa Roses has a big living area with a corner for dining, a charming , fully-equipped kitchen next to the covered veranda, a big luxurious master bedroom with bathroom en suite, a wonderful covered veranda and a cellar/laundry in the basement. On request it is possible to put an extra bed for 1 guest. At the west side of the house is a big terrace and swimming pool with magnificent old olives trees offering shade. It is a perfect place for breakfast, a drink or dinner. Beautiful roses around Villa Roses smell intensely from spring to autumn.
Renting both houses
To rent both houses is attractive for large families. In this way you can enjoy your privacy, whilst sharing your holiday together.
Impeccable service
Guests will find immaculate accommodations, fine linens and everything needed for maximum comfort. Maid service is provided twice a week for bedrooms, bathrooms and the kitchen. Linens are changed midweek. The terraces and the pool are looked-after. Our local knowledge in the areas of eating, drinking, shopping, sailing, motor boating and excursion possibilities will be gladly shared with you.
